About the Opportunity

Join Discovery Logic's government consulting team as an Information Specialist in the application processing center.  This position is located in Rockville, Maryland and offers stable employment, a supportive team, and provides vital work for our high-profile client.

We are looking for detailed-oriented information specialist to join our team.  This team is responsible for supporting the application process for a government entitlement program.  Staff responds to applicant phone inquiries regarding program eligibility,  distributes application materials, guide applicants through the application process, assembles the application packages, supports all phases of the internal office processing of applications, and interface with various external resources.   


Qualifications
  • Organized, multitasking with attention to the lowest level of detail
  • Customer Service, customer-focused experience
  • Interpret policy for responding to clients
  • Strong diplomacy and problem solving; communication and people skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Good office skills with experience using the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook and Word)
  • BA preferred or equivalent experience
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Student lending knowledge and government experience a plus
  • Candidate must have a clean personal financial history and be able to pass a US Government Public Trust security clearance
