Break the Silence.

As a firm focused on infusing our projects with innovative techniques and cutting-edge technologies, we have a special interest in using these same technologies to help Discovery Logic’s hearing-impaired men and women (now numbering almost 10% of our work force) communicate with coworkers.

  • Email and IM are used extensively.
  • Video Relay Service (VRS) makes phone calls much easier.
  • Dual keyboards at each desktop to enable face-to-face chats.
  • Many employees have learned sign language.
  • Interpreters are available for meetings.

These technologies allow deaf and hard of hearing employees to communicate within the company and with clients in real time without having to rely on interpreters or text-based telephone systems.
