Adobe selects Discovery Logic for Designer 6 beta program

March 25, 2004

Adobe Systems has selected Discovery Logic to participate in the beta program for Adobe Designer 6.0, a powerful web form application. "We are thrilled to be included in the program," says Discovery Logic president Naomi Pollard, Ph.D. "It gives us advance exposure to a new development platfor that has real significance for our government customers."

Adobe Designer 6.0 enables users to extend the power of XML to create Portable Document Format (PDF) and HTML forms that effectively capture data and easily integrate it into enterprise systems. This capability enables a high return on investment because it uses embedded intelligence to validate data at the source of capture, eliminating the time and effort — and costly mistakes — associated with rekeying. And because PDF files can be filled in and submitted electronically, they speed document transactions and give users instant access to forms from anywhere on nearly any device.

Adobe Designer 6.0 is the result of the purchase by Adobe of the leading enterprise forms application company Accelio (formerly JetForms).
